A relationship centered on safety and connection
I’m Alex Parnell, a Texas Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. My work focuses on the relationship between emotional safety, attachment, and meaningful connection. I integrate Emotionally Focused Therapy, attachment-based perspectives, and interpersonal neurobiology to help people understand difficult patterns and develop new ways of relating to themselves and others.

Room to explore what matters
My approach begins with a simple belief: people are better able to explore difficult things when they experience enough safety, agency, and connection. Therapy is not about forcing change or offering easy answers. It is about making room for understanding, building trust, and discovering what becomes possible together.
